We were immediately seated outside and the baseball game supplied very nice ambient background noise; not too loud at all, but with the clear sight of the giant screen you can keep up with everything happening during the game.

Once the menus were brought out, we didn't even hesitate to place our appetizer order; the “Cowboy Queso”. We consider ourselves queso connoisseurs, so this was an easy decision and what they brought us was nothing short of queso nirvana. It was the perfect blend of cheese, beef, and pico de gallo. After our initial distraction we revisited the menus to find an array of humorous plate names and dishes, such as the “Mother Clucker” and the “Fuster Cluck”, both of which are chicken dishes. We ordered the Mango Fish Tacos and the “Smack N Cheese”.

The Mango Fish Tacos were so incredibly fresh and flavorful, a very refreshing take on the taco and a perfect late summer dish.

The “Smack N Cheese” was a more hefty endeavor, full of warm gooey cheese and covered in crunchy bread crumbs. I made the wise decision to order this dish with the chicken, which was fresh and seasoned so well. Get it with the chicken. Seriously!

We finished our meal with a cocktail from their drink menu, the Toasted Pineapple, a very tropical and fruity cocktail mixed with amaretto, Bacardi rum, pineapple and orange juice- a drink that went well with both of our dishes. We will definitely be returning to try the “Fuster Cluck”.
